Former NBA player and assistant coach Gary Grant has joined the Beach Basketball staff! Grant played in the NBA for 13 seasons as a point guard for the LA Clippers, New York Knicks, Miami Heat, and Portland Trail Blazers.
He's remembered as one of the best defensive point guards of his era. He later served as an assistant coach for the Portland Trail Blazers as well as the San Diego State Azetcs at the collegiate level.
He trained Beach head coach Dilan Srinivasan at a young age. Srinivasan now brings Grant in to implement those same player development tactics to the next generation of young basketball players.
